The perineal area is located between the vaginal area and anus

Massage the perineal area two weeks before the due date for 2-3 minutes every day with a pea-sized amount of the cream.

Massage the perineal area two weeks before the due date for 2-3 minutes every day with a pea-sized amount of the cream.

This is how the massage works:

1. Wash your hands thoroughly.
2. Apply a pea-sized amount of the cream (Warm Touch) to a clean fingertip.
3. Gently, but with light pressure, apply the cream to the perineal area and massage in.
4. Massage the cream in with circular movements for 2-3 minutes (for as long as you feel comfortable) to promote blood circulation and relax the tissue. Do not insert the cream vaginally or anally, as this can be perceived as unpleasant.
5. Do not apply too much pressure and make sure that the massage is relaxing and not painful.

After the preparatory work with Warm Touch, you now need the right support during the birth. Ask the delivery room for warm, moist compresses to further minimize the risk of a perineal tear.
